Wish I was Stitching
Woolly Stitch (formerly Wish I Were Stitching) is a contemporary needlework specialist supply store and workshop based in Singapore. We stock crochet, knitting and stitching material and supplies, and conduct lessons for these crafts.
Our store carries high quality yarn, hand-dyed yarns and needlework tools from American, European and Japanese makers. We also stock products from independent needlework studios in the US and Scandinavia. Besides materials and tools, you will also find single-project craft kits to make bags, wearables and other usable creations.
Our curated collection of products focus on modern styles and wearable materials that create practical works and fashion that the hobbyist will be excited to wear, use or display. We handpick the products in our store, choosing updated and unique textures, colours and quality that needleworkers will not find in regular craft or department stores.
Our knitting and crochet lessons are designed to build solid foundations. These lessons will benefit hobbyists who want to learn needlework skills properly, beyond the skills that can be self-taught from watching videos.
About the founder
Wish I Were Stitching was started in 2012 by Angela Ng, an avid needlework. She left a full time job to pursue her interest in crochet, knitting, stitching, ribbon work and embroidery that reflect present-day tastes.
Angela trained in London and Nottingham. She loves to discover ultra-modern needlework products of small, independent workshops worldwide and make them available to hobbyists in Singapore and Asia.
