The idea is using very very tiny hooks and very very thin threads
to make the same thing. And with the tiny hooks, and the same pattern, the item just get smaller.
The cool thing with DMC threads is that you can split them. The skein of threads comes in 6 strands and you can pull the strands out and work with the hook.
Diamant threads already comes in 1 strand and not able to split it. I find them useful for making sparkly items, suitable for jewelry making as well. ( ˊᵕˋ )♡.°⑅
