My heart and soul are completely full after a week of pure, intentional slow living.
Between nourishing vegetarian meals that brought a sense of calm to my days and long, quiet afternoons, this break was exactly what I needed to restore and recharge. In the midst of all this stillness, I found the perfect rhythm to finish a brand-new project!

Pattern Spotlight: The Moonwake Tank
If you are looking for a project that embodies the spirit of slow, relaxing crafting, I cannot recommend the Moonwake Tank enough.
-
Skill Level: Highly recommended for beginner knitters! The pattern instructions are incredibly straightforward and easy to follow, making it a stress-free knit.
-
The Silhouette: It’s the perfect classic summer staple—lightweight, breezy, and effortlessly stylish.
My Technical Notes & Customizations
To get the perfect fit and drape for my style, I made a few intentional tweaks to the project specs:
-
Sizing & Needles: I knit the small size using 3.25mm needles for the main body to keep the stitches neat and consistent.
-
The Perfect Edge: For the bind-off, I dropped down to 2.75mm needles and used the Suspension Cast-Off method.
Instructor Tip: Using a smaller needle size for your cast-off prevents the edge from flaring out, while the Suspension Method ensures the hem stays perfectly stretchy and comfortable to wear!
Filling Your Cup
There is something so therapeutic about matching a slower pace of life with the steady rhythm of your needles. This Moonwake Tank will always remind me of this peaceful week of restoration. Sending you all warm wishes for a beautiful, restful week ahead.
