Do you have this strange looking/Weird yarn which you didn't buy, but somehow it gotten into your stash? Something which maybe you gotten it from a yarn swap or maybe as a gift?
Somehow is the colous hues which you didn't think about buying.
We usually have that range of "safe" colours which we will purchase right?
Honestly, for myself, I love all shades of pinks and blues.. these are like my go to colours. Let me tell you a joke, many years when I started my yarn shop.. guess what, I stock all the common colours and of course those I like.. somehow.. i didn't think to stock purples and green- shades of yarns. LOL.. ๐๐๐ and it was like much later in the months when I opened, and one customer was looking for it.. then I realized my this.
So somehow... this 100g of yarn (the main piece of the shawl) was gifted to me. Personally, I don't like the mix of green, red and yellow.ย It reminds me of colours of the Cuban flag.
For the longest time, this yarn has been sitting in my stash, and I wanted to de-stash it.. but for a 100g, really it is not enough to make a wearable, unless I mix something in.
And so, after putting much planning into it, viola... I managed to knit a semi-circular shawl and added a crochet edging of pompom fringe.
I still want to use the "warmth" of the yarn (as it is merino wool) and plus so cuteness in it.
And I'm happy with this creation. Something I can use during my travels as well. (๏ฝกโขฬแด-)โง
