I stitched on 28count evenweave cloth. Colours from stash threads.
For the main words, I use variegated DMC threads to form the colours and I totally Love It.
Point to note:
1) The trick with Variegated threads is to just cross stitch each and every Stitch as you go.
2) Don't just do one part of the stitch and cross back.. it just doesn't work with varigated threads.
